Tullia Butterfly 14K Gold Filled Dangle Earrings
The Tullia Earrings have a cubic zirconia flower stud with a solid butterfly dangling below. This is probably the *cutest* earring I've made so far lol! Each piece of this earring is built using 14K gold filled components, right down to the comfort clutch backs. They have a little bit of weight to them; feedback from women are that they are not heavy, but feel quality. The finished piece comes in a gift box!

Each component of this earring is 14K Gold Filled, including the comfort clutch earring backs (with plastic surrounding the gold-filled clutch). There is a lot out there on gold filled vs. vermeil vs. gold plated. After much research and speaking with those in the industry, gold-filled seemed to come out on top consistently. Gold filled jewelry is a bit more expensive due to the way it's made (a core metal is sandwiched between layers of gold alloy) and the fact that it has more real gold. This higher percentage of gold and it's manufacturing process allows gold-filled jewelry to have a much longer lifespan than vermeil or gold-plated jewelry, especially when they are well taken care of.
Take care to keep your jewelry out of water. Take off before baths/showers, swimming, and if they get wet, be sure to dry them! Though they may be okay getting wet, keeping them dry and clean will allow for a much longer lifespan.
